PASS Roles > CEO

Role of the CEO
By bringing the business perspective to a PASS school, the CEO assists the principal in becoming a stronger leader and manager. The CEO plays the following role in the PASS program:
  • Provide business/private sector perspective on leadership
  • Develop mentor relationship with the principal
  • Mentor one or more days per month and be available by phone
  • Work with the principal to translate the School Improvement
  • Plan into a "Business Plan" with benchmarks
  • Uphold financial commitment
  • Provide additional company resources as appropriate-volunteers etc
  • Serve as an advocate for the principal
